For separating access to different functionality in Feedback, Support team can create Units, where users can be assigned different roles in Feedback. The roles are defined by the activity that should be carried out by a user while working with Feedback.
Think of a unit as another independent feedback module that you can configure separately and have specific users in charge of it. For example, you may have one user to handle the whole unit, and they will be the only person to access the surveys made in that unit.
Every unit has its own:
- list of surveys
- global settings
- invitation settings per channel (email, sms, ivr)
- invitation message (email, sms) per channel
- default theme settings
- time-slot settings
- case-alert email settings
- reminder settings
Feedback roles are assigned for each unit separately and can be assigned to a separate user or to a User Group. Each user or User Group may have different roles assigned at once.
In order to assign a specific role for the user to manage a specific Unit, please visit Feedback-> Global settings-> Share rights.
The available roles and permissions are described in the table below:
Role | Permissions |
Viewer | View Feedback pages such as Surveys, Unit Global Settings, Settings. (Viewer also permitted to Download Source if XIRCL::STORE permission granted) |
Editor | Create and Modify surveys and their content. |
Approver | Change surveys status (Active/Stopped/Paused/Deleted). |
Inviter | Upload import files. |
Manager | All roles described above with additional ability to modify global settings. |
Users that don’t have access to a unit on at least Viewer level, will not see and be able to download any surveys that belong to that unit.
- By default, all users with access to Feedback module have Manager role to all units.
- To grant or change user's role in a specific unit, please open a ticket to Support Team.
- Please note that in order for a user to be granted any kind of the roles above, the user should have access to Feedback in the first place. Also, to be able to see the "Share rights" tab and manage it the user should have a Support User role, or contact Support team for help.
- Please note, that all users will still be able to download the data of a specific unit from Store, only Feedback module is separated per units.
