Overview
This is a quick notification to let you know that SandSIV's URL shortener is moving from our old 9889.ch domain to a new one:
surv.biz
Current status: SandSIV completed the switch to surv.biz as a default URL shortener.
Update (February 1, 2017): All short links generated since February 2017 will use HTTPS URLs both in VoC Feedback UI as well as in SMS messages.
Implications
Here's what you need to know about the change:
- After the switch is made all new links will point to new surv.biz domain.
- All existing 9889.ch links will be operational until September 1st, 2016 to ensure proper operations of your surveys.
- Please make sure to update your systems and/or processes to ensure that they no longer point to the old 9889.ch domain.
What is a URL Shortener?
URL Shorterner is a special service which is provided in certain parts of VoC Feedback. Short links are currently used in:
- Static survey links (mostly used for testing purposes)
- SMS messages to navigate the customer to the WEB survey
