Incident: instances were unavailable on a shared cluster
Dear valued Customers,
We would like to inform you about a service interruption affecting our systems, which occurred on 15.01.2025 between 6:40 PM CET and 9:45 PM CET.
What happened?
We received an alert indicating a performance issue with the MySQL database server, which rendered the instance inaccessible. This prevented users from logging in during the specified period.
What were we doing to resolve the issue?
The issue was resolved by addressing the performance problem on the MySQL database server and restoring normal operation.
What are we doing to avoid such issues?
To prevent similar incidents in the future, we are implementing additional monitoring and alert checks to proactively identify and mitigate performance issues during maintenance.
