Individual questions can be identified with the "External Identifier" attribute within the question creation page.
Parts of VoC Feedback where the External ID is used:
- Custom Exports: External ID may be used to identify which customer responses to include in a custom export.
- Case Alerts Trigger: External ID is used to identify the question a customer response to which will trigger a case alert.
- Case Alerts Content: External ID is used in the case alert emails to identify the individual customer responses.
WARNING: Changing or modifying the External ID may lead to problems with the system if this ID is being used for any of the cases mentioned above. Before modifying, please be aware of each area where the External ID is being used.
