Online training

You can train the classifier online in the tool. We have to provide an excel file that contains no categories, i.e. a file with just verbatim.

You can use the file MyFirstClassifier - Training online.xlsx as an example.

Once the training file is ready, click on the Upload data menu and choose the Upload new file tab (opened by default), choose the classifier set you want to apply the training to and select as type training online. Then drag and drop your input file on the field with disc symbol or you click on it and choose the file from your computer.

Click the Submit button. The file will now be uploaded and the manual training queue will be updated. If you go to the menu item "Training texts", you can see the list of the imported texts. Now you can choose the right class at the end of each line and either submit it or remove it. You can also remove or remove all texts in the screen at once. When you are done, you can click on the "Load more texts" button on the upper right side and the next 10 texts will be shown.

If you see texts that are not suitable for training, you can delete a single line by clicking "X" at the very end of each line. If you want to delete all shown texts from the manual classification queue, click the "Remove all" button on the top or below the training cases.
