Advanced Settings for WEB channel allow to customize the email invite settings and Survey answering system behavior.
For Survey inheritance behavior please see this article.
Invitation email
Invitation email is sent when a customer is invited to a survey and if that survey is in active state.
Detailed settings information
Invitation Email - Sender Name
Allows to specify a language-independent default Sender Name for your Invitation email.
Example: You can set up "Customer Experience" as Sender Name. If a customer is invited with any language, the invite will be sent with "Customer Experience" as a Sender Name unless overridden by a language-specific value.
Invitation Email - Sender Address
Allows to specify a language-independent default Sender Address for your Invitation email.
Example: You can set up noreply@example.org
as Sender Name. If a customer is invited with any language, the invite will be sent with noreply@example.org
as a Sender Address unless overridden by a language-specific value.
Invitation Email - URL survey
Allows to specify a URL for the survey. This value is supplied by SandSIV during the VoC Hub setup and shouldn't be changed unless alternative domain names for your Surveys are a part of your contract.
Correct URL survey
setting should contain a valid domain name followed by a slash symbol /
and then an {id}
placeholder.
Example: https://survey.example.org/{id}
Invitation Email - URL unsubscribe
Allows to specify an Unsubscribe URL for the Survey. This value is supplied by SandSIV during the VoC Hub setup and depends on the type of unsubscribe infrastructure your company uses. For more information please see this article.
When SandSIV blacklist infrastructure is used, correct URL unsubscribe
setting should contain a valid domain name followed by a slash symbol /
followed by an {id}
placeholder and then followed by /unsubscribe.
Example: https://survey.example.org/{id}/unsubscribe
Reminder email
Reminder email is sent when the conditions of reminder email settings for Survey (or in Global Settings) are met. Reminder emails might help you to boost the response rate of the Survey by reminding a customer to start the Survey or complete the one they didn't fully answer to.
Detailed settings information
Reminder Email - Send reminder (in days) - Minimum number of days after the invitation
Allows to configure the lowest boundary of Questionnaire age to send the reminder emails to, which conditions are specified in Send reminder option.
Reminder Email - Send reminder (in days) - Maximum number of days after the invitation
Allows to configure the highest boundary of questionnaire age to send the reminder emails to, which conditions are specified in Send reminder option.
Important: both the above fields "Minimum number of days after the invitation" and " Maximum number of days after the invitation" are mandatory to be set up. If any of these fields is empty (not set up) or equal to zero, a Reminder email functionality won't be triggered. Please, pay attention if these parameters are filled in Global settings (Advanced Settings -> Reminder email).
Example: In case of Minimum number of days is set to 5 and Maximum number of days is set to 6 (as shown in the screenshot) for each Questionnaire which is 5 < x < 6 days old a Reminder email will be sent during next reminder check (each minute). Reminder is sent only once per Questionnaire and the Questionnaire is marked as "reminded" internally.
Reminder Email - Send reminder to "not started"
Enables Reminder emails for Questionnaires in invited state.
Reminder Email - Send reminder to "not completed"
Enables Reminder emails for Questionnaires in started state.
Templates options
Allows to customize Survey templates used in feedback Answering system
Detailed settings information
Web Template
Allows to specify a Survey layout (template) to use by default (in Global Settings) or on per-survey basis (when overridden in channel-specific settings).
The layouts (templates) are maintained in a separate tab of Global Settings called Layouts.
Allow Mobile Template
Allows to enable a Mobile template by default (in Global Settings) or on per-survey basis (when overridden in channel-specific settings).
Mobile templates are based on jQuery Mobile Themeroller framework and are available for all our customers. Please note that the UI of Mobile templates is not customizable in the Layout tab and you can only control it via Survey Settings. For more information about mobile devices support, please see this article.
In case your WEB layout is responsive, you don't need to enable Mobile template option as that will change the looks of your Survey layout and VoC Feedback will use Themeroller-based mobile template
Mobile Template - Color scheme
Allows to specify a Color scheme to use in Mobile template.
Here's a list of available color schemes for usage:
- blue
- green
- orange
- red
- yellow
Your company might also have a custom color scheme set up for you individually by SandSIV. Please check with our team to learn more about custom color schemes.
Please note: If no color scheme is specified, mobile template might appear broken or might not work properly.
